September 30, 2014

New York, New York; September 30, 2014 — GLG and the Association for a Better New York will this evening host a conversation about New York City public schools and what the Common Core would mean for New York City students. GLG brings top professionals together around the world to teach and learn from each other and designed their innovative new headquarters to bring minds together for unique collaborative learning engagements and intimate events.

Monday’s conversation will feature former State Senator Craig Johnson and Jonathan Schleifer from Educators 4 Excellence. During his tenure in the New York Senate, Johnson worked on education reform efforts and helped secure funding to support innovation. At E4E, Schleifer brings New York City teachers’ voices to debates about education reform and the future of New York City schools.

“Our mission is to transform the way the world’s top professionals share expertise and learn,” said GLG President and CEO Alexander Saint-Amand. “We’re thrilled to host this important conversation about the future of learning for New York City students at a promising moment of transformation and innovation across education at all levels.”
