This role is based at our Mumbai office and requires employees to be in the office 3 days in a week. The shift time for this role is 3 pm to 12 pm.
Position Overview: Project Support Specialist
GLG is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Project Support team in Mumbai. Project Support Specialists (PSS) are responsible for facilitating interactions between GLG’s clients and Council Members. Council Members are industry experts including global Key Opinion Leaders and senior industry executives working with GLG in a consultative capacity.
To facilitate these engagements, the PSS will work closely with both client-facing GLG Client Solutions professionals and GLG’s sophisticated client base, which ranges from hedge fund managers to partners at private equity firms and project managers at top-tier consulting firms and Fortune 1000 companies.
As a Project Support Specialist, you will develop a deep understanding of GLG’s business model and end-client markets as well as acquire incredible client service experience in a dynamic, high-intensity environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate interactions between GLG clients in APAC and requested Network Members (experts) based in USA
- Navigate requests with complex compliance requirements and client-specific preferences.
- Establish and build strong working relationships with APAC Client Solutions partners.
- Engage Network Members daily to understand their capabilities and knowledge on specific client requests.
- Interview prospective industry leaders as needed and capture critical data in GLG’s extensive profile management systems.
- Successfully execute against project objectives, seeing each project through to completion
- Appreciate the urgency of competing projects and prioritize accordingly.
- Demonstrate adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Required Skills:
- Superior communication and interaction skills, including demonstrated oral, written and presentation abilities in a business-focused setting using a variety of communication channels (telephone, e-mail, in-person.)
- 1-3 years of work experience preferably working Internet Research/Head Hunting/Recruitment/Market Research/Administration/Customer Service/Customer Support
- Bachelor's degree or higher from a top tier university
- Excellent fluency in (written and oral) English
- This role is for US Shifts starting from 5pm onwards.
