Overview of the role:
GLG’s Marketing Internship Role is an exciting opportunity for university students looking to pursue a career in research, consulting, or the financial services sector. The internship is structured to develop your communication and teamwork skills and broaden your industry knowledge while working in a fast-growing global firm. You will support the APAC marketing team on marketing activities to support the growth of GLG business across Greater China, North APAC and South APAC. Projects will involve analytical, digital, research, and administrative responsibilities. You will work closely with regional marketing managers to ensure decisions are backed by information and insight derived from a wide variety of sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the GLG APAC marketing team with efficiency, responsibility, and ownership of key marketing projects for institutional clients.
- Conduct market / industry research and analyze customer data in Salesforce to provide business insights.
- Work in alignment with global team to understand data architecture and provide regional input where business data is needed.
- Manage ongoing data cleanse, ensure accurate and prepare data for system upload.
- Collect, analyze, evaluate, and report on marketing and sales data in order to increase revenue performance.
Candidate profile:
- Current bachelor/master's degree student at a top-tier university, preferably pursuing a degree in finance, marketing management, data science, software engineering or related fields.
- Resourceful, driven individual with a passion for finance and professional services industry.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience working with and mastering highly disparate data.
- Strong SQL skills with ability to query and master business data is a plus.
- Able to commit Full Time for a minimum period of 3 months.
