GLG is seeking a Senior Associate in Kuala Lumpur to support the GLG Southeast Asia Professional Services Firms segment.
The Senior Associate will help to drive GLG’s business model and develop their segments client base through close coordination with senior members of the team and working with clients to fulfil their primary project needs including client requests, assisting senior team members with high-level product execution, and facilitating interactions between GLG’s clients and Network Members.
Position Responsibilities:
- The Senior Associate will execute on time sensitive projects to enable our clients to make more informed and confident investment decisions. The Senior Associate is tasked with fulfilling time sensitive research requests by analysing client requests and building and qualifying primary populations of suitable experts.
- Work towards growing GLG client portfolio by developing relationships with GLG clients, who are leading management consultancies across SEA, via virtual client meetings, project execution, and telephone interactions.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales and Business Development team to grow revenue and ensure the retention of existing accounts as well as collaborate with other GLG professionals to develop and execute a wide range of products for GLG clients.
- Learn to leverage GLG’s platform and network to match thought leaders with clients, based upon the client’s project objectives.
Position Requirements:

- Bachelors degree, or higher
- 2 to 4 years of relevant industry experience in recruitment, internet/market research, outreach, partnership, business development
- Passion for problem-solving in a client service role
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and interest, in some or all the following areas: sales, negotiation, or networking with high-end professionals; and/or product and project management
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise activities effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
