Position Overview:

Learning and Development Managers are highly proactive, credible and passionate self-motivators who establish themselves as a critical resource with colleagues and stakeholders across all levels of seniority.  They are knowledgeable about effective D&I and L&D program design and can effectively transform general concepts into effective and relevant programs and initiatives.

As part of the Global Learning & Development team, this individual will spearhead the development and implementation of Diversity and Inclusion initiatives while also partnering with L&D colleagues to foster a culture of growth and development across the company.

Key Responsibilities of the L&D/D&I Manager:

  • Partner with GLG and L&D leadership to design a comprehensive D&I strategy for employees and managers
  • Manage all diversity initiatives including resource groups, leadership lunches and speaker series
  • Responsible for the coordination of all program logistics and budget related to diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote visibility of our diversity initiatives both internally and externally
  • Develop metrics to track and analyze D&I initiatives on retention and engagement of underrepresented groups
  • Identify and build relationships with external partners and thought leaders that can support our diversity and inclusion strategies
  • Partner with broader L&D team on initiatives including onboarding, manager development and other ad-hoc programs

For this position, we seek applicants with bachelor's or master’s degrees.  The following factors will strengthen an applicant’s candidacy:

  • 3-5 years D&I experience or L&D experience with a D&I focus
  • Self-driven and persistent; able to achieve lofty goals with minimal oversight
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and with senior leadership to generate results
  • Ability to design and facilitate innovative and dynamic training sessions to small and large groups of varying seniority
  • Experience in project management including an ability to manage to budget, navigate deadlines, partner with multiple stakeholders, and develop communication timelines
  • Strong public speaking and written communication skills
  • Ability to produce high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience partnering with external vendors to develop customized training modules for a business
  • Comfortable with PowerPoint and Excel
  • Some travel required
