Job Summary

GLG Social Impact seeks to brings the power of insight to every great professional decision in the social sector. Through GLG Social Impact, our employees and our Council Members engage with nonprofits and social enterprises working in issue areas they care about.


We are a small and passionate team with a big mandate. We are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated professional to join our team as an Associate.


The Associate will be inspired and motivated by GLG’s commitment to Social Impact. S/he will be responsible for supporting our growing portfolio of programs with a focus on the GLG Social Impact Fellowship.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Support five year old Social Impact Fellowship through assisting with annual Fellow selection, annual Fellow convening, GLGer engagement and communications efforts
  • Support Social Impact Fellow and Social Impact Client interaction with GLG’s platform. Opportunity and desire to grow into Fellow- and client-facing role capitalizing on GLG’s platform for good
  • Coordinate and support Social Impact events in GLG offices around the world, in partnership with Communications, Facilities and Events teams
  • Support Social Impact portfolio of programs including new Partners Program, Service and business development efforts, as needed
  • Support ongoing data collection and management such as monthly expert feedback.


An ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Commitment to mission of GLG Social Impact and to corporate shared value strategy
  • Experience in and knowledge of social sector – with desire to support leading nonprofits and social enterprises through consultative engagement with our platform
  • Strong organizational, communications and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Demonstrated commitment and attention to detail and comfort in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Team player attitude with ability to create excellent working relationships
  • Fluency in Microsoft office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word software, and a track record of learning how to use new software tools
  • Demonstrated ability and initiative to handle increasing responsibility and autonomy over time
  • Undergraduate or graduate GPA of 3.3 or better
  • 1-3 years post-graduate experience in a professional environment
  • Experience in the social sector or corporate social impact work is preferred but not required
