Senior Manager, Council Development

Senior Manager, Council Development is an ambitious professional who will lead the Council Develop team(s) in the Platform Operation organization to develop and grow the GLG Councils. This is an exciting position with the opportunity to work closely with the Greater China and APAC regional leadership teams and business managers that are driving the growth or the organization through effective Network Member recruiting work for the Greater China business unit. The Senior Operation Manager will manage groups of associates across various Practice Areas (PA) (i.e., Tech, Media, Telcom, Consumer Goods and Service, Health Care, etc.) who are focused on Network Members recruiting work and content development in those industries.

We are looking for candidate who has a strong Growth and result driven mindset, demonstrates client centricity, and excellent people management skills. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a cross functional, fast paced environment, be innovative and possess strong people & stakeholder management skills, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the Council Development Associate (CDA) team to ensure quantitative, qualitative, and timely delivery of the projects and services.
  • Manage people and develop people.
  • Plan, analyze, and assess opportunities and risks in the platform operation, including assisting with the PO leadership team for decision making.
  • Work together with local/global function teams to establish, refine, and iterate processes leading to operational excellence and great associate experience.
  • Establish strong relationship and trust with stakeholder teams by creating effective communication and delivering the results.

 

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in business or engineering.
  • At least 5-7 years’ working experience in service operation or program management in a multinational company. With experience of leading a sizable team. Strong communication, coordination, and influence skills are required.
  • At least 3 years’ working experience as people manager. Experience in managing the team performance to deliver the results.
  • A multi-task leader with ability to think strategically and pay attention to the details. Be innovative in the project plan and execution.
  • A self-motivator, problem solver, quick learner.
  • A data driven professional.
  • Fluent in English speaking and writing.
