Business Development Associate, Private Equity

 

The Enterprise PE BD team is seeking a high performing, results-driven, and client-centric professional who wants to directly engage and build relationships with investment professionals at PE Sponsors and their portfolio companies. This person will be responsible for supporting key accounts to through account strategy and mapping, user activation and engagement, event targeting and outreach, client meetings, client reporting, and special projects to support the Enterprise PE business. 

 

This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is entrepreneurial and aspires to a career in business development.  This candidate will also have an opportunity to work with senior leaders Enterprise PE and within their clients from associates to managing partners.  The candidate will report to a senior member of the PE BD team and work closely with other members of the PE BD team. He/she will need to be able to thrive in a fast paced, energetic and rapidly shifting environment. He/she will also need to have the drive and desire to build a top performing book to achieve our growth goals.

 

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Account Strategy & Mapping
  • User activation and engagement
  • Event targeting & Outreach
  • Client Meetings
  • Client Reporting & Tracking
  • Special projects as requested

 

An ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Desire to drive relationships and proactively engage with clients
  • Detail and process oriented
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment
  • Polished executive presence
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • The highest level of integrity and professionalism
  • At least 1-5 years’ work experience, preferably in a client-facing role
  • A record of strong performance in your existing role
